Better Green Academy Philosophy

Better Green Academy’s philosophy is rooted in the Holy Bible and guided by the Word of God. Biblical principles are intentionally integrated into every aspect of the learning environment, shaping both instruction and daily experiences.

BGA utilizes the Abeka curriculum, which is grounded in biblical truth and designed to promote academic excellence. As a middle grades program, the school emphasizes college preparation and introduces students to career pathways, equipping them with practical, real-world skills.

The academy is committed to educating the whole child by fostering growth in four key areas:

 

Goals: Spiritual: 

  1. To Know and Understand Who Jesus Christ as Savior through the gospel books in death, burial, and resurrection 
  2. To encourage, establish, and promote a daily time of devotional awareness.
  3. To inspire development that creates a mindset in the Holy Spirit. 
  4. To create and establish the responsibility of discipleship for learning and the real world.
  5. Teach and promote the gospel. 

Physical: 

  1. To establish a respect for the body as the temple concerning the Holy Spirit. 2. To instruct intelligence for critical thinking in care of the body. 
  2. To create a mindset of creativity from understanding the Holy Spirit. 

Emotional: 

  1. To develop a life that follows the Holy Spirit. 
  2. To cultivate a conformed scholar. 
  3. To develop positive mindset traits in Christ 

Social: 

  1. To encourage perseverance 
  2. To teach how courage and honor is needed for success. 
  3. To teach the importance of God’s views of family. 
  4. To instill and establish respect for self and respect for others 
  5. For scholars to know sense in Grace in God 
  6. For scholars to know sense in Mercy in God 
  7. To develop respect to influence human ethics
